The Printing

Brookie's Rating: 5 out of 5 stars
*****

The Printing is a movie made by Bob Jones University in 1990. The movie takes place in Soviet Russia, when the KGB enforced measures in everything. Including christian life. They controlled the churches and decided what parts of the bible were allowed to be read in public. Bibles were a rare treasure and many russian christians did not own one. In secret, christians began printing bibles. However, printing bibles was a threat to the KGB's regin. This movie is based on a true story of the presecution russian christians went through.
I highly recommed every christian to watch this. There is some violence and someone dies but it is nothning graphic so I think ages eight and older could watch this. The gospel is shared so if you have any unsaved friends or family members this would be a good movie to watch with them. This movie reminded me that in America, we are blessed to have bibles and have the freedom to worship God. Pray for your brothers and sisters in Christ who are being persecuted in other countries.
