How the Grinch Stole Christmas

Brookie's Rating: 4 out of 5 stars
****
This movie would have had a perfect score if not for the crude humor and a few sexual innuendos. Overall, the movie is one of my favorites. In a positive light, the grinch realizes that Christmas is more than just about presents, good food, and games. However, like many Christmas movies made by Hollywood, the movie says it is all about love and being together. Yes, that is part of what Christmas is about, but Christmas is really all about celebrating the maginficent birth of Jesus Christ into the world in order to save sinful man.
The crude humor is mostly just the grinch's dirty environment. The grinch loves stinky things and lives right next to the Who dump. He rides the dump back from his dwelling to the village. He eats glass, has termites in his teeth, eats onions, and does many other things that are repulsive. The sexual innuendo revolve around one character who wears low cut tops and short dresses. The grinch at one point falls on such character. I myself would not recommend young children ages 8 or younger to watch this film unless with adult permission and supervision.

PS: Unless I get any feedback, I'll just review a movie once a month or maybe just once every two. Thank you for reading my blog and may you have a blessed day!
